Casio G SHOCK 2013 x "A Bathing Ape" (Bape) x "STUSSY" Frogman Limited Edition

Stüssy is an American clothing brand and private company started in the early 1980s by Shawn Stussy. The company is one of many that benefited from the surfwear trend originating in Orange County, California, but it has largely been adopted by the streetwear and hip-hop scenes.

Stüssy teams up with A Bathing Ape and Casio G-Shock to release a collection of collaborative goods. In thinking about the brands involved, each a kingpin of their respective markets, this collaboration makes a lot of aesthetic sense. The three brands took to Casio G-Shock’s feature-heavy Frogman watch, outfitting the piece in an adventurous red and black colorway. Stüssy and A Bathing Ape branding subtly underscore the background of the main dial as well as the header, maintaining the integrity of the silhouette.
