Casio G SHOCK 2013 x "AKIRA" KANEDA Neo Tokyo Version Set of 2 Limited Edition
To commemorate AKIRA's 30th anniversary, it took over a year to complete under the supervision of Katsuhiro Otomo himself. This is a special collaboration model with a metallic and shiny "red" color that shines all over the body.
Developed based on the concept of AKIRA's main character, Shotaro Kaneda. The company paid particular attention to the ``red'' color that evokes the image of ``Kaneda'' down to the front buttons, liquid crystal display, EL backlight spacer, and other details.
A "capsule mark" appears on the EL backlight of the LCD, and "Harukiya", which appears in AKIRA, is engraved on the back. The band is printed with the barcode found on Kaneda's driver's license and the message "GOOD FOR HEALTH BAD FOR EDUCATION."
Imaged after AKIRA's historical background "NEO TOKYO". By using white as the base color and using red and black as accent colors, the overall coloring is cohesive.
The ``AKIRA'' logo appears on the EL backlight of the LCD, and the year name and ``No. 28'' mark, which is the core of AKIRA, are engraved on the back. The words "Great Tokyo Empire" placed on the band give off a strong presence.
