Dive into celebrating 30 years of MR-G timepieces defining the pinnacle of the G-SHOCK brand, with an icy cool FROGMAN inspired by the icy polar sea. Introducing the MRG-BF1000EB, a 30th anniversary MR-G with the ISO 200-meter diving water resistance demanded of diver’s watches. This FROGMAN embodies the sharp, quiet beauty of the brinicle — a rare natural phenomenon seen only in polar seas and witnessed only by those who tackle the most extreme adventures.

The limited-edition timepiece features a bezel made of COBARION®, a super-hard alloy combining approximately four times the hardness of pure titanium with a platinum-like gleam. Swirling facet cuts on the bezel are meticulously handcrafted by gemstone artisan KOMATSU Kazuhito. Adorned with arc ion plating (AIP)* in blue, the stunning finish changes as light shifts across its surface for a truly one-of-a-kind look. Two brilliant-cut, lab-grown blue sapphires radiate a deep blue brilliance in strong light, evoking the brinicle motif that inspires this stunning design. Key components, including case, bezel, and case back, as well as the crown, buttons, screws, and other smaller components, are made of Ti64 titanium alloy. Blue vapor-deposited sapphire crystal is press-fit into the screw-lock case back, which is finished with titanium carbide (TiC) coating.

The iconic FROGMAN diving frog character is engraved on the case back, along with a serial number certifying the watch as one of a limited edition of 800 pieces worldwide, and “MR-G 30TH” commemorating the special anniversary. The screw-lock crown ensures a tight seal, and the MR-G Clad Guard Structure incorporates protective parts and high-performance buffering components into the crown and buttons to absorb impacts to the module and meet the most advanced divers’ needs. The timepiece comes with two bands: a strap made of Dura Soft, an extremely durable and comfortable fluoro rubber material, with buckle and strap loop made of Ti64 titanium alloy; and an interchangeable bracelet made of pure titanium, treated to a deep-layer hardening process and titanium carbide (TiC) coating. Simply press the button on the back of the lug while removing the side pin to easily attach or detach the band. This stunning timepiece provides superior functionality, as well. Equipped with Bluetooth® and three dual-coil motors for rapid rotation of individual hands to indicate dive times, the watch is designed to keep diving stress-free. In diving mode, the hour and minute hands overlap to form a single hand, delivering high visibility and making elapsed time underwater easy and intuitive to read. Tap into the dedicated app to easily set tide data for some 3,000 locations worldwide, as well as to check and get detailed analysis of your dive logs on your smartphone.

The dedicated MR-G module features a gold-plated retainer plate.
