atmos is a major sneaker and streetwear retailer in Japan and Asia.

Founded in 2000 in the backstreets of Harajuku, Tokyo, atmos started as a small retail shop. It quickly grew into a global influencer by shifting the perception of sneakers from purely athletic gear into premium fashion statements.
The retailer is highly regarded for its exclusive collaborations with major sportswear brands like Nike, adidas, ASICS, and New Balance. Their iconic animal-print designs and unique colorways have cemented their legendary status in global sneaker culture.
While atmos was acquired by the American retail giant Foot Locker in 2021 and briefly expanded into the US, it closed its North American operations in 2023 to fully redirect its strategic focus toward Japan and growing Asian markets (including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines).
