This time, GRS joins forces with CASIO G-SHOCK to present a special project themed “Kowloon Impact.”

“Impact” not only represents G-SHOCK’s iconic shock-resistant performance, but also symbolizes the cultural resonance created by the fusion of Hong Kong street culture, creative energy, and the city’s distinctive resilience.

Inspired by the classic DW-5600RL-1 model, this project features a redesigned “Kowloon Impact” wordmark by Japanese type designer “Yu Miyama”, a long-time collaborator of GRS. Through a contemporary design approach, the project reinterprets the aesthetic beauty of Traditional Chinese characters.
