On the other hand, Seiko Divers, the roots of Prospex, was born in 1965 as the first domestically produced diver's watch.

The first Shohei Otani limited model opens up the history of Seiko divers.
It is based on the first model, the 1965 Mechanical Divers.
In this work, we will introduce the essential milestones in the history of Seiko diver's watches.
The model has been revived with a modern interpretation and depicts Otani, a player who pioneered the history of the baseball world.

It follows the coloring of the visitor uniform worn when they achieved the feat of ``double-digit wins and double-digit home runs'' for the first time in 104 years. The dial, which is based on gray and stands out with scarlet (red), expresses a strong desire to open up the future. 

The crown is marked with the uniform number "17" in the same font as the uniform and Otani's signature is marked on the top of the clasp with diver extender.
